Special Prayer Request
Ethan

On Wednesday, May 20th, God chose to take Ethan home. We rejoice to know that he is no longer in pain; however, our hearts ache beyond expression. Ethan touched many lives and we will never forget his joyful smile and his zest for life. Please continue to pray for Chris, Sandy, Carson, and Carleigh in these darkest of hours. You may visit www.carepages.com and enter Ethansheart to leave a message, view arrangements and read Ethan's incredible story.

Tommy

Update: After being on the heart transplant list for nearly a year, Tommy Schomaker's family received word that God had made a heart available for Tommy. On June 3rd, after many hours of surgery, Tommy received his new heart. Praise God! Currently, the doctors are keeping a watchful eye on his tricuspid valve but so far they are pleased with his progress overall. Please continue to pray for Tommy's recovery and healing and for his body to fully adapt and accept his new heart.

Please keep Tommy's donor family in your prayers also. Despite the intense grief and pain that they are enduring, they chose to give the gift of life. Learn more about organ donation and how to register in your state by visiting www.donatelife.net or www.facebook.com/donatelife

Tommy (HLHS) is an amazing eight year old boy with a smile that lights up the room. He and his family hold a special place in all of our hearts.
